1 - Kick off
After agreeing on the quote and scope of the project we always make sure to visit the site for a site survey.
2 - Drawings
After the site survey is complete we move on to structural drawings. We always make sure these go through all the necessary approvals before we move on to the next stage.
3 - Welding & fabrication
Now that the site survey is done, we have our approved structural drawings, we can start the heavy lifting. Our first stage of production is fabrication. SFES is a UKCA approved company, meaning all our fabrication needs to be done in our workshop. Based on the structural drawings we start cutting, welding, and numbering parts and primer painted parts. After the parts get checked and documented they are ready to leave the factory for the final steps.
4 - installation
We have all our parts, we have gone through all the official approvals, checks and documentation. Let’s start erecting. On the arranged date we arrive on site with all the necessary lifting equipment (we are happy for client to provide these if preferred) and installation tools. During the installation process our builders always follow the RAMS (Risk assessments and methods statements) making sure of quality of project and safety of our team.
